Burn Ban and Water Use Restrictions - July 2020

On Wednesday July 22, 2020, the Borough of Carroll Valley was placed into the “D1” Drought Status by the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration.  Possible impacts include:  Some damage to crops, pastures; streams, reservoirs, or wells low, some water shortages developing or imminent;

As such, the Borough is requesting all citizens to consider voluntary water-use restrictions.  Please consider conserving water by avoiding lawn and garden watering, pool filling, washing cars, etc…

Further, because of these exceptional drought conditions, our local fire departments have requested all residents to refrain from burning.
