Carroll Valley Borough is home to 3 lakes, 2
recreation areas, several auxiliary playing fields and a pavilion w/
picnic area.
The first of our lakes is located along state Route 116 in the borough.
Lake
May
offers the public fishing and boating fun with a small picnic area.
A second lake is located in "K" section of the borough and can
be accessed from Trout Run Trail.
Lake
Kay
also offers fishing and boating, along with a small playground area for
the children. The third lake can be found adjacent to
Carroll
Commons
Park
located in the center of our borough along state Route 116.
Carroll Commons hosts a large playground, picnic
area and a pavilion. For your enjoyment, there is a beach
volleyball court, basketball court, bocce court, horseshoe pits, and
shuffle board. Restroom facilities are open on the Commons grounds from
April 15th until October 1st.
All public areas are open from dawn to dusk daily. The
pavilion and kitchen facilities can be rented for your next gathering.

The
Borough of Carroll Valley held it's annual trout
fishing derby on Saturday April 29, 2006 at the Carroll
Commons Park from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Community youngsters were invited to come out to Carroll
Commons Park with their fishing poles, tackle boxes and bait
and take part in the Carroll Valley / Wal-Mart Kids
All-American Fishing Derby presented by Zebco.
There were plastic goodie bags for each youngster and
special hand-outs and souvenirs to go in the bags. There
were door prizes awarded including rod/reel combos,
vests, creels, etc… As a community event, there was NO CHARGE!
