JULY 4TH COMMUNITY

CELEBRATION

 

Carroll Valley Commons Hosts Event for Area Residents

 

Carroll Valley Borough, in partnership with Fairfield Borough, Liberty Township, and various community organizations and businesses, are finalizing plans for the 4th Annual July 4th Community Picnic being held on the grounds of Carroll Commons in Carroll Valley.  It is an 'Ole Fashioned Picnic.  This celebration has drawn attendance from the entire tri-state area. 

 

There's plenty of fun for the whole family; enjoy the car show, good music, play a game or two of bingo, join the horseshoe tournament, watch the softball tournament, play some volleyball, take a hayride around the park or get your face painted.   It's all at the July 4th Picnic being held on Friday, July 4, 2008.  Rain date will be Saturday, July 5th.  The program starts at 10:00 am and ends with Fireworks at 9:30 pm.  Watch for the Full Schedule of Events....coming soon.

 

Children's activities include make-n-take crafts, rubber ducky races, sack races, water balloon tosses, tug-o-war challenges, animal balloon making and more.  New for 2008 will be the Moon Bounce Ride and a 20-foot Inflatable Slide, Golf Putting Contest, Climbing Wall, Football Training Camp, and much, much more...Great Fun for the whole family and it's FREE...Bring your family, your friends, and your neighbors.  Pack your picnic basket or stop by the food court located on the picnic grounds for some local specialties.  The evening will bring more great music, a patriotic sing-a-along, a formal flag retreat ceremony and conclude with FIREWORKS launched from atop Ski Liberty Mountain...Hope to see you there!
