Although 2013 does not have a high-profile election, such as President of the United States, this election year could have more of a direct impact on local residents.  Several offices are up for re-election at the local level, such as Borough Council, Mayor, School Board, Tax Collector, County Sheriff, and County Treasurer.  These offices directly impact your life through their decisions regarding services offered and tax levels. 

You should get informed about the persons running for office and make an informed decision.  Most importantly, you need to get out and VOTE!
